“Conner! Supper time!”
“Sorry George. I have to go and eat. I'll be back soon,” Conner said to the chestnut colored horse. He rubbed his hands on his jeans then stroked it through his own hair. It matched his horse's exactly and his eyes were a beautiful almond shade. Conner gave George a carrot and went to eat himself.
The smell of fresh meat and vegetables attacked his senses as soon as he entered the house. Charlie, their bloodhound, was laying in the middle of the entryway. Snoring lightly. “Terry, go and get your brother,” Ma ordered from the dining room.
